How BlockRight Works
BlockRight gives you dated, verifiable evidence that your work is yours. You register the work, we fingerprint your files, and you get a certificate anyone can check — plus tools to license, sell, and contract around it, all on one record.
Five steps. The first three take about five minutes.

Create your account
Sign up with your email and a password. Your account starts with a profile — that's the identity your proof records belong to.
Why it matters: Every record you create is tied to your profile, so there's never a question about whose evidence it is.

Register your work
Tell BlockRight what you made — a logo, a song, a website, a book, artwork, a product, anything. Give it a public title (shown on your certificate) and, if you want, a private title only you see.
Why it matters: This creates the official record — the folder that all your proof, evidence, contracts, and listings for this work live in.

Add evidence
Upload the file itself — the design file, the master recording, the manuscript. BlockRight computes its cryptographic fingerprint (a hash) and timestamps it. Your file stays in your private vault.
Why it matters: The fingerprint proves that exactly this file existed at exactly this time. If anyone ever copies your work, you have dated evidence you had it first.

Get your proof certificate
Turn on the public certificate for your work. You get a shareable link showing the work's title, its fingerprint, and its evidence timeline.
Why it matters: Anyone — a client, a platform, a lawyer — can verify your claim from that link, without ever seeing your private files, contracts, or codes.

Put your rights to work (optional)
List your work on the verified marketplace for licensing or sale, attach contracts and leases to it, negotiate in private deal rooms, and record payments as commerce proofs.
Why it matters: Deals made through BlockRight become part of the work's evidence trail — every agreement and payment strengthens your record.

Beyond a single work
The five steps above build one proof record. BlockRight's underlying system supports a lot more around it, as you need it:
Commerce Stamp
Every real transaction around your work — a first sale, a license fee, an ad placement payment, a service invoice — becomes a dated commerce record: buyer, seller, price, order ID, receipt. Proof your work isn't just made, it's active in the market.
Brand Activity Proof
Document first use, first-use-in-commerce, and ongoing activity for a logo, product name, tagline, or campaign — the kind of dated evidence that supports a trademark specimen or a first-use claim. This supports official registration; it doesn't replace it.
Metadata Preflight
Before BlockRight tags anything, it reads the file's existing metadata and flags anything that looks like someone else's copyright, license, or creator claim — so you're never silently overwriting rights that aren't yours to overwrite, and no one can silently overwrite yours.
Ad & Media Placement Proof
For clients running real campaigns — commercials, sponsor spots, geo-targeted ads — BlockRight can document the creative, the placement, and the delivery report as part of the work's evidence trail.
