Is this the same as registering my copyright or trademark?+
No — and we're clear about that. Official registration with the copyright or trademark office gives you legal rights only the government can grant. BlockRight gives you something different: organized, dated, verifiable evidence of your work, your files, and your agreements. Many clients do both — the registration establishes the right, the BlockRight record proves the story behind it.
Who can see my files?+
Nobody, unless you choose otherwise. Uploads live in your private vault. Your public certificate shows only what you decide to publish — typically the work's title, its fingerprint, and its timeline. The files themselves, your contracts, and your private notes are never exposed.
What does the certificate actually prove?+
That an exact file existed, in exactly that form, at a specific date and time, connected to your profile. The fingerprint (a cryptographic hash) changes completely if even one pixel or one letter of the file changes — so a match is a match.
What if someone copies my work anyway?+
BlockRight can't stop a copy from happening — nothing can. What it does is make sure that when it happens, you're not starting from zero. You'll have dated evidence for takedown requests, platform disputes, negotiations, or your attorney. The side with the organized record usually has the shorter fight.
